About Men’s Retreat

Holy Toledo Men’s Retreat exists to help men encounter Jesus Christ in a personal, practical, and lasting way. This faith retreat for men is for any man 18 and older who wants to grow in his relationship with God, strengthen his faith, and walk with greater purpose at home, at work, and in the church.

Hosted at Clara Springs Baptist Encampment in Pelican, Louisiana, the retreat creates space for intentional Christ-centered discipleship, prayer, accountability, and strong Christian community. You will not walk this road alone; you will be surrounded by men who are also seeking holiness, brotherhood, and a closer connection with Christ.

What to Expect

This men’s spiritual retreat is centered on a personal encounter with Jesus Christ and a deeper understanding of what it means to follow Him. Through intentional programming led by experienced men’s ministry speakers, you will be challenged to apply your faith to real life: your family, your work, your decisions, and your daily walk with God.

Holy Toledo creates a safe space where men can speak honestly, pray together, and build accountability without pretending to have everything figured out. You will share the weekend with men from different walks of life who want lasting friendships, stronger faith, and a church community that continues after the retreat ends.

The retreat setting at Clara Springs Baptist Encampment gives you room to step away from work calls, screens, schedules, and noise. This men’s ministry weekend is designed to help you slow down, listen to God, renew your spirit, and return home with greater peace, clarity, and commitment.

Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, eternal and almighty, who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things, seen and unseen. We affirm that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is fully divine and fully human, born of the Virgin Mary, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the redemption of humanity’s sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven, where He reigns and will return to judge the living and the dead. We trust in the Holy Spirit, who inspires, sanctifies, and empowers believers to live godly lives.

We hold that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, which are divinely inspired and authoritative for faith and practice. We affirm the Church as the body of Christ, united across time and place, called to worship, serve, and proclaim the Gospel.

We believe that marriage, as ordained by God, is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for His Church, and is intended to be a lifelong union of mutual love and fidelity.
